Rolan Cornelissen – Founder Story

Studio Rolan Cornelissen was born from nearly two decades spent mastering the art of refined, layered interiors at one of the Netherlands’ most iconic studios.

I began my journey far from the design desk managing logistics, memorising fabric codes, and proving that my dedication could outshine any title.

Over the years, I was fortunate to be taught by the best, growing from junior designer to head of design, and finally creative director at Eric Kuster— trusted to bring grand visions to life for discerning clients around the world.

But true creative growth asks for space!

And I realised that the feeling I want to create for my clients the sense of belonging, warmth, and quiet luxury deserved its own name, its own house.

Studio Rolan Cornelissen is that house. It’s where thought full materials, authentic craftsmanship, and comfort come

together in spaces that feel like an embrace. Where classic forms and contemporary design come alive — not just to impress, but to welcome.
