A Royal Affair
Our first completed apartment at The Royal Atlantis: calibrated to the resort’s Silver palette, sculpted volumes, and a brushed Palisandro marble TV wall—an ultra-luxury city-and-sea getaway.
This residence is our opening chapter at The Royal Atlantis—a royal affairin tone, but edited for calm. The brief was clear: honour the tower’s drama while crafting a retreat that feels effortless from sunrise to skyline.
Planning starts with the view. We drew a clean axis from entry to glazing and kept profiles low so the horizon stays uninterrupted. Seating floats on a pale rug island; a mitred marble island reads as one sculpted block for cooking by day and drinks by night. Warm oak niches and bronzed details introduce depth without weight.
Materially, the apartment follows the development’s silver scheme, pearl and chalk tones, soft metallics, and cool stones that layers tactility so it never tips into glare. Floors and counters are honed marble to catch the Gulf light softly; sheer drapery filters heat while keeping Dubai legible.
A bespoke moment anchors the living wall: a brushed Palisandro marble installation that conceals the television inside finely detailed stone and shadow gaps. It’s functional theatre, subtle by day, quietly luminous after dark.
The terrace extends the interior language outdoors. A round table and woven chairs sit against glass balustrades so sea and skyline remain the heroes. At dusk the tower’s amber fins glow and the apartment becomes a front-row seat to the city.
Bedrooms return to tailored comfort. A faceted headboard, layered linens, and soft geometry keep the palette calm; the masterbedroomcsuites frames the water like a
cinematic still, with seating gathered to one side for reading and late-night views.
Throughout, lighting is layered, slim pendants, floor lamps, and discreet coves. Making the apartment as composed at night as it is bright by day.
Every junction is disciplined, concealed hardware, mitred stone, and consistent lines. So the space feels carved rather than assembled.
The result is a first of its kind for us at Royal Atlantis: a refined, view-led hideaway shaped for modern rituals and long, unhurried stays.
